Timetables
The centralised timetable system maintained by Matkahuolto contains information on the schedules of
more than 400 private bus operators and 40,000 departures. With its timetable and information
system, Matkahuolto is capable of providing accurate timetable information whenever required.
Timetable search on the Internet
The timetable search on Matkahuolto’s website can be used to find the timetable
information for all of the express, regular and commuter bus departures in Finland. The system
contains information on 20,000 departures and more than 14,000 designated stops en route.
More and more information on local transportation will also be available in the timetable
search as the schedules are migrated into the system.

Local traffic route guides on the Internet
Matkahuolto’s new route maps offer the opportunity to look up local bus routes by means
of address details, street name or map. Route guides are available for the following towns:

LähiBussi services between Helsinki and the neighbouring municipalities
If you need timetables for the bus services from Helsinki to the neighbouring municipalities,
you can also look up the times at
www.lahibussi.fi. The LähiBussi website also
provides route maps and other useful information on LähiBussi services (only in Finnish).

Nationwide timetable inquires by telephone
Timetable information for all of the 40,000 departures included in the timetable system can
be obtained by calling the Nationwide Timetable Inquiries Service at 0200 4000 (€ 1.50/min +
local network charge) between 7:00–21:00 Monday–Saturday and between 8:00–21:00
on Sundays and holidays.

Yleisradio’s teletext service and the pages following it.
Timetable information from Matkahuolto’s service outlets
Timetable information is also available from a total of 600 customer service points that
include Matkahuolto’s service outlets, its agents and travel agencies.
Timetables on walls, platforms and at stops
When the stations are closed, timetable information can be checked from the printed
timetables on the station walls and at the platforms and bus stops.
Announcements
The largest stations have automatic public address systems to announce departures.
Monitors at stations
The largest stations and the busiest passenger terminals are equipped with electronic screens
and monitors allowing you to check the timetable information and the platform or bay your bus is
leaving from.
