CityCity Ticket
Matkahuolto’s CityCity Ticket is a serial ticket intended for trips between pre-determined cities. The ticket is loaded onto Matkahuolto’s travel card. The CityCity ticket is highly affordable and worth buying if you ride at least twice a month on a certain route. By using the CityCity Ticket, you may save up to 50% of the regular standard adult fare depending on the route involved.The CityCity Ticket costs € 230 on all routes. Valid for 120 days from the date of purchase, the ticket provides 8 to 36 trips depending on the route.
CityCity Ticket is a holder-specific ticket that may be used by several persons but not at the same time. The CityCity Ticket may also be purchased as a company ticket in which case it is personal.
The CityCity Ticket can be used for travelling between the two cities defined in the ticket. You can board and get off the bus at any express bus stops between the departure point and destination. However, you may not do so at other stops within city and municipal limits along the route.
The CityCity Ticket does not permit any transfers, the exception being the Tampere-Pori route on which transfer is allowed in Huittinen.
CityCity Tickets are available from Matkahuolto’s service outlets and its agent in Hanko, Jämsä and Tammisaari. Aside from these Matkahuolto outlets, the CityCity Ticket can be reloaded on the busses and at all R Kiosks. A CityCity Ticket used as a company ticket may be bought and reloaded at the Matkahuolto outlet with which your employer has signed an agreement on company tickets.
