Busship ticket
The BusShip Ticket is a bus connection ticket for Tallink Silja and Viking Line boat trips sailing
from the ports of Helsinki and Turku. The bus connection ticket, which is clearly more affordable
than the regular adult fare, can be combined with any regular service or cruise (except for Viking
Line departures between Helsinki and Tallinn).
The bus and boat ticket are always sold as a single package. To receive the discount, the bus
connection ticket must be purchased in advance together with the boat ticket. The ticket must be
paid 24 hours before the trip. No discount is granted on tickets purchased on the bus. The bus
connection ticket is good for travel on direct express and special express departures.
The bus connection ticket may be up to 30% cheaper than the regular fare. Children’s
tickets are half of the adult rate. Refunds on unused or partially used BusShip Tickets are made in
accordance with the refund policies applied by the shipping companies. The bus connection tickets
are priced according to zones based on the point of departure and destination and the shipping
company involved. For prices, visit
Tallink Silja and
Viking Line.
BusShip Tickets are sold by shipping companies and travel agencies. Additionally, BusShip
Tickets for Tallink Silja cruises are sold by the Matkahuolto service outlets in Forssa, Helsinki,
Joensuu, Jyväskylä, Kokkola, Kuopio, Lahti, Mikkeli, Mäntsälä, Pietarsaari, Pori, Salo, Tampere,
