The Business Travel Card is a modern and convenient means of payment accepted by all private bus fleet operators. The card is intended for business travel purposes by companies and organisations. The Business Travel Card is similar to the Matkahuolto Bus Voucher, which has been already available for a long time, except that it can be loaded on the electronic travel card.

The Business Travel Card offers a wide range of benefits for companies and other organisations. Passengers using the card do not have to queue up to purchase tickets at the ticket office; instead, they can use the card to pay the fare when boarding the bus. Additionally, there is no need to save receipts because the employers will receive an itemized expense report in connection with the monthly invoice. As a result, payments and travel accounting are easy and effortless. The same card can also be used to pay for a trip made by several people. Moreover, the Business Travel Card is highly affordable as the company only pays for the trips actually made and a modest invoicing service charge. The charge for the card itself when purchased is € 6.50 per card.

When the Business Travel Card is activated, a specific period of validity, such as one year at a time, is specified for the card. During its period of validity, the card can be used for trips of varying distances. If preferred, the company can impose card-specific restrictions concerning the number of trips, the amount of the fare, etc. When the card's period of validity is about to expire, Matkahuolto will extend it by recharging the card.
