Annual tickets
Matkahuolto's annual tickets are
nationwide ticket products that are ideal for passengers travelling a specific route regularly or
fairly regularly. The annual ticket includes 22 or 44 trips of a specific distance and is valid for
one year from the date of purchase.
The annual ticket is a highly affordable option. The 44-Trip Annual Ticket for adults offers a
minimum discount of 25% while the same ticket for children (aged 4 to 11) offers a 50% discount.
The discounts are calculated on the theoretical basic rate confirmed by the Ministry of Transport
and Communications. The 22-Trip Annual Ticket for adults offers a 15% discount and the children's
ticket (aged 4 to 11) a 50% discount. The discounts are calculated on the adult fare applied by
Matkahuolto.
The annual ticket can be used to pay the fare of several passengers at the same time. The
annual ticket does not include any transfers.
