Matkahuolto’s Near Parcel

 

lähi_paketti_2Near parcels can be sent and collected at Matkahuolto outlets and Siwa, Valintatalo and Euromarket stores. Click here to find your nearest Parcel Pick-up Point. 

We deliver the parcel to the Parcel Pick-up Point chosen by the consignor within 1–3 workdays. The cost of transport for Near Parcels is paid by the consignor.

Parcel options and prices

Near Parcels must always be packed using Matkahuolto's packaging materials: freight bag or parcel package. Lähi_pussi_sivulta

Freight bag

  • size 25 x 7 x 48 cm
  • maximum weight 2 kg
  • price €8.50 (consignment €7.50 and bag €1)

Parcel package Lähi_laatikko_sivulta

  • size 38 x 9.5 x 29 cm
  • maximum weight 10 kg
  • price €9.95 (consignment €8.95 and package €1)

Parcel tracking and notification to the consignee

You can monitor the progress of your consignment using the Track & Trace feature. We will notify the consignee by a text message when the parcel can be picked up. Enter the consignor’s complete address details and mobile phone number in the address card.

Terms and conditions

Near Parcels cannot be sent cash-on-delivery and may not contain any fragile terms, dangerous goods, live animals, perishable foods or any content in contravention of the General Conditions of Carriage.

Return of unclaimed parcels

Parcels are held at the pick-up point for 14 days after which any unclaimed parcels will be returned to the dispatching Matkahuolto terminal. If the returned parcel is not claimed by the original consignor within 14 days, the parcel will be disposed of. In such a case, the original consignor or consignee will not be entitled to any direct or indirect compensation for damage.

In other regards, the provisions of the Road Transport Agreements Act and Matkahuolto’s General Conditions of Carriage for Goods will apply.
