Near Parcel
Cooperation between Oy Matkahuolto Ab and Tradeka Oy offers new opportunities for remote sales firms and companies transacting business in the electronic environment.Now all of Tradeka’s Siwa, Valintatalo and Euromarket stores will serve as pick-up points for parcels transported by Matkahuolto. As a result of this cooperation, Matkahuolto’s service network now includes nearly 1,200 Parcel Points, ensuring fast and efficient deliveries close to home all over Finland.
Bus Parcel and Near Parcel

The advantage offered by the Bus Parcel and Near Parcel is based on efficient service, frequent connections, extensive route network, reliable timetables and flexibility.
A Bus Parcel claimed at a Matkahuolto service outlet can be paid either by the sender (consigner) or the recipient (consignee). Click here to see the price list for Bus Parcels.
The price charged for the Near Parcel is always paid by the consignor. Another possibility is to send the Near Parcel cash-on-delivery (C.O.D.).
Pricing for both products is based on the total weight of the items irrespective of the distance carried. Recipients will be informed of incoming parcels by SMS, e-mail, fax, or e-letter.

The applicable fuel surcharge will be added to the prices listed below. The prices do not include packaging materials and shipping documents.
The charge for Near Parcels sent C.O.D. is € 5. An unclaimed Near Parcel will be returned automatically in 14 days after arrival in the Parcel Point. The cost of the return shipment will be paid by the original consignor.
