The package must be of the right size to ensure that the goods cannot move around inside the package. If necessary, use styrofoam, foam or bubble wrap. Crumpled newspapers are also good fillers.
Place sufficiently thick padding (at least 5 cm) at the bottom of the package, then wrap up each item individually in padding, and put them in the centre of the parcel.
Fill the empty space with pieces of styrofoam
or some other filler. Place additional padding on top of the goods before you close up the package. Make sure that the goods cannot move around in the package.
Attach "Fragile" stickers to the sides of the package.
Used car tyres must be packaged properly. Easy-to-use plastic tyre bags are available for
packing car tyres. Please note, however, that plastic bags are not enough for aluminium wheel rims
that need to be protected with cardboard.
Prams, buggies, strollers and car seats
Fold up the prams/buggies and strollers and protect their textile surfaces with plastic, packing paper, etc. Tape any parts sticking out or parts that come off easily.

Protect the protruding and easily damage parts carefully and wrap the entire bicycle in cardboard. If the bicycle is unpacked, do not lock it. No compensation is paid for damage to an unpacked or incompletely packed bicycle.
Put liquids in a sealed container or bottle.
Pack wide-mouthed containers (e.g., berry buckets) in plastic bags. Tape the bag or tie it
off so that it is watertight. Pack containers containing liquids in a durable box so that
they
cannot move around inside it. Attach arrow
stickers to the package (this way up).
The package must contain filling material
that will absorb the liquid in case the container or bottle should break.
Drain the machine or device before packing it! Always place these items in a suitable wooden, plywood or plastic box. Add filler to the box that will absorb any liquid that may leak from the items. Unpacked machines and devices are not accepted for carriage.

Before you close the package, put an address slip inside it showing the contact details (contact
person, address, telephone number) of both the consignor and the consignee. This ensures that the
consignment will reach its destination if the waybill should be damaged
in transit.
Put everything included in the consignment inside the packaging. Items attached to the side of the package get easily lost in transit.
Do not make formless packages and do not leave anything hanging off of the package.
Seal the package carefully. Use enough tape, string, clasps, bands or other types of
fastenings to close the package.
The best way to close the package is using thick tape. The heavier the package, the more tape
you should use.
Attach an address card to the top of the package. Make sure that the package carries
all the necessary labels and markings if it requires special handling.
If your consignment consists of several
parcels, remember to put an address label on all of them.
