Matkahuolto does not carry unaccompanied live animals,
except for live larvae and worms used as fishing baits. The consignor must, however, package
the animals properly to provide safe conditions for the duration of the trip. The package must be
closed to ensure that the larvae and worms cannot escape during transportation. Live animals are
always sent as Express Parcels. Indicate the contents clearly by writing on the package and next to
the appropriate item on the address card: eläviä toukkia/matoja (live larvae/worms).
